Vitamin c serum for fine lines and wrinkles
Objective
To expand the body of research by presenting a case series involving patients who underwent non-ablative factional laser (NAFL) therapy across multiple centers, with subsequent topical application of C E Ferulic serum.

Methods
This study conducted clinical and instrumental evaluations on four subjects aged 20-40 to assess the effects of combined therapy for improving skin quality. CE Ferulic serum was applied topically after NAFL treatment on one side of the face, while normal saline or placebo cream was used as a control on the other side. VISIA® was used to obtain standardized clinical photographs and assess facial skin erythema and key skin quality parameters.

Results
The results demonstrated that the serum, when used in conjunction with NAFL, improved skin quality. Patients reported reduced erythema and shorter downtime, indicating accelerated healing and overall improvement in skin condition post-laser treatment. The serum also showed promising results in alleviating symptoms of rosacea-related erythema and immediate pain, suggesting its potential for promoting skin barrier repair. Importantly, the topical application of the serum was well-tolerated with no reported adverse events in the case series.

Conclusion
This split-face case series suggests that applying an optimal combination of antioxidants after NAFL treatment can improve skin condition. The use of CE Ferulic immediately reduced erythema and promoted healing after laser treatments. Further studies are needed to understand the long-term effects and mechanisms of reducing skin hyperpigmentation.
